I am inspired by the immense courage shown by those who choose to seek support and take part in the intimate, emotional and beautiful journey that is therapy. I’m honoured to be a part of the therapeutic process as individuals explore the deepest parts of themselves on their healing journeys.
When we experience the ups and downs of life, it is not uncommon to feel alone and as though life is unravelling. My hope is to make sure you do not feel like you are on this journey alone. I believe that mental health is one of the core components of living a healthy and fulfilling life, and an essential part of our overall wellbeing. Therapy should be a safe space and I strive to create an environment where people can share the real, the messy, and the vulnerable parts of their life as they embark on a path towards healing and reconnecting with their true, authentic self.
Just as no two humans are alike, I believe that no two journeys are alike, in life or in therapy. As such, I draw from a variety of different approaches focused on emotions , solutions, acceptance and commitment.
My areas of focus when working with clients include trauma, grief, addiction, eating disorders, anxiety, depression and relationship concerns.

I am a Ph.D. candidate in counselling psychology, a registered provisional psychologist, and a registered yoga teacher with a Master of Science in counselling psychology. In my therapeutic work, I seek to combine the eastern philosophy of inquiry, mindfulness, and wholeness into the western-based art of psychotherapy.
I deeply enjoy working with people, from all different backgrounds, stages and walks of life. With compassion and insight, I provide a space where clients feel that they are heard, cared for, and validated. I believe that people are more than the challenges that they face.
I am currently finishing my Ph.D. in counselling psychology from one of the few programs accredited by the American Psychological Association in North America. For my doctoral coursework, I studied in Southern California, the American Midwest and Western Canada. As a yoga teacher, I lived and trained in India at the base of the Himalayas and specialized in mindfulness, breathwork, and movement.
My therapeutic modality is from an integrative, evidence-informed, and common factors approach. Specifically, I use a Psychodynamic approach that is integrated with humanistic and mindfulness-based modalities. I believe it is important to use both objective and subjective measures to guide my work.
I am passionate about helping clients make peace with themselves and find a path that allows them to author their own stories with self-acceptance, courage, and resilience. I look forward to working with you.

As individuals, we each have a unique set of values that guide us. We may or may not be aware of what these values are, and they may shift over time and with experience. I believe that by understanding what is most important to us we have an opportunity to use this information to manage our thoughts, beliefs, and behaviour in a way that allows peace of mind and authenticity, which in turn leads to a meaningful life. Using our values to direct our choices and ground us in who we are can allow us to overcome challenges and put us on a path to becoming our best selves.
Part of my work with clients involves taking a step back, examining existing beliefs and challenging whatever doesn’t stand up to our personal, relational, or professional values. Our work together will be collaborative and tailored to your unique needs and goals. My approach to counselling is founded in the following evidence-based theories: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Existential Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and some aspects of Narrative Therapy.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Mount Royal University and Master of Science in Counselling Psychology from the University of Calgary. My undergraduate and graduate research focused on the experiences of polyamorous folks and the impacts of living in a society that prioritizes monogamy. I have received additional training in Narrative Therapy from the Vancouver School of Narrative Therapy and Calgary Narrative Collective and Compassion Cultivation Training from the Compassion Institute at Stanford University.
Through my life experience, work, and research, I have gained extensive knowledge about exploring, managing, and navigating consensually/ethically non-monogamous relationships and 2SLGBTQ+ issues. Additionally, my areas of focus include relationship counselling, anxiety, depression, identity development, stress management, life transitions, values exploration, and existential considerations.
Selecting/finding a psychologist with whom you feel comfortable can be a challenging task, and as such, I am happy to have a phone or video conversation with you to determine if we might be a good fit. Please contact me to set up a free initial consultation so we can learn a little bit about each other!

I am accepting new clients across Canada (couples, families, and individuals age 12+).
“Hope is the desire for something to happen or be true. It may be hope (and courage) that brought you here. I believe we all have the power and innate wisdom to grow and change, and I am humbled by the courage it takes for clients to create the lives they hope for.
I am grateful for my own journey through life transitions—marriage, parenting, divorce, and starting over in middle age to create the life I hoped for.
My approach focuses on creating a non-judgmental, safe space where you can explore your story and life experiences with curiosity and compassion. My goal is to help you connect with yourself, understand your feelings, align with the values that guide your choices, and embrace new challenges so you can lead your life with confidence and belonging. Together, we’ll identify patterns, get you “unstuck,” develop effective coping skills, and build on your strengths.
I use a holistic, client-centered approach grounded in research. As a trauma-informed therapist, I offer interventions to help identify and process trauma. I also believe that a therapist’s office can be a place for humor, laughter, or stillness. All emotions are welcome here.
I am humbled to share this space with you and support you in creating the meaningful life you deserve.”
